Joint Crisis Committee: Korean War
South Korea
Overview
In the JCC Korean War, delegates will step into the shoes of South Korea. The committee will delve into two critical topics for the survival of democracy. Topic I explores the Role of International Intervention in the Korean War, emphasizing the geopolitical rivalry of the Cold War and the impact of interventions by global powers. Topic II focuses on Post-War Reconstruction and the Division of Korea, addressing the challenges faced by South Korea after the armistice agreement in 1953. Delegates will have to be proactive and face issues of rebuilding, ideological tension, and of course, adapt to challenging crises.
