Letter From The
Secretary-General
Dear Delegates, Sponsors, and Guests,
I am honored to welcome you to the third annual iteration of Mills E. Godwin High School's Model United Nations Conference.
The future of our world lies in the hands of the next generation, and it is up to fight for it. Model UN isn’t just an activity where students learn to debate pressing issues— it’s an environment. It’s a community that is filled with a new generation that understands what it means to be a leader in our world. On the weekend of February 23rd-24th, we hope to provide a platform where new and returning delegates are exposed to the essence of Model UN.
For the past few years, we proudly hosted a variety of engaging debates, passionate speakers, and fiery competitions that inspired delegates all over the region. This year, all the members of our secretariat have worked endlessly to ensure that our conference has grown to be even better, and continues evolving to be the best it can be.
During GODMUN III, I hope every delegate tries to learn something new. Through each of our ten diverse committees, all of our capable and committed chairs are eager to help you progress in this step of your Model UN journey, no matter if you are brand new or well seasoned. On behalf of our GODMUN staff, we are excited to see you there and encourage you to fight for the future.
Sincerely,
Aryan Mhaskar
Secretary-General
